On January 7–9, 2026, an international multidisciplinary conference, “The Beyond Camps and Forced Labour Conference”, was held in London, organised by:

• Center for Holocaust Studies at the Leibniz Institute for Contemporary History.
It was a wonderful event, full of outstanding papers!

EEHRI took part in one of the panels entitled “Early Holocaust Testimony. Unlocking Collections in East-Central Europe,” featuring Zofia Trębacz, EHRI-PL Coordinator, who presented the paper “How to Speak about the Unspeakable? Early Holocaust Testimonies in the Collection of the Emanuel Ringelblum Jewish Historical Institute.”

The panel also included other researchers and EHRI collaborators: Michal Frankl, Magdalena Sedlická, Maria Dermentzi, and Martin Wynne, as well as Ildikó Barna.
